Green Smoothie Herb Popsicles

Sweet treats in the heat of the summer are an essential part of childhood. Just like playing in the grass with bare feet and splashing through a stream in the woods catching minnows and crayfish. It all just goes together.

I remember laying on the grass eating push-ups in the summer.

They never really tasted that good, it was more for the novelty of the experience. Of course, the push-up is completely void of any nutrition. So… what is a real food mom to do? Of course, there are endless banana ice cream variations and special desserts…

But, sometimes you just need a popsicle!

Enter the fantastically versatile silicone Ice Pop Maker by Norpro (aka, the best investment EVER)!

Now you can make and remake your own variations of a push-up! Here is the last one we made!

Watermelon Spinach Banana

Lemon balm, Mojito mint, summer tarragon, Pineapple sage

Herbs

Naval orange

Coconut milk

Blend all in your high-speed blender. I love my Vitamix!!

Fill your popsicle molds and put them into the freezer until frozen completely (a couple of hours).

Serve to hungry littles!
