I am back! Blog revival!

My family follows a whole food and movement based lifestyle. This means my job as a Mom to two sets of twins is huge! Not only is a lot to care for two 5 year olds and two 1 year olds, but cooking from scratch for them every day is constant demand. I am very organized and planned with my time. Every day, I make three meals plus snacks. I move intentionally through my training sessions and unintentionally through life tasks. The girls are starting to ween now which means I can continue to recover my body from the responsibility of nursing twins for a year.

My goal for reviving this blog is to share some of the daily humor that occurs with two sets of twins. I also hope to share some of the lessons that I have learned and continue to learn along the way.

Lesson #1: Kinetic sand is not a mess free activity.

For you Moms and Dads out there who dreamt of the fun craft or activity that will occupy your kids and not require continued supervision…kinetic sand is not that activity. I bought it with this vision in mind…my boys sitting happily at the kitchen table playing with their mess free kinetic sand. Ha ha ha!!! This was not at all what occurred. The sand quickly came out of its safe little container and scattered about the floor. It then somehow made its way between the teeny tiny crevices of the floor boards which are impossible to clean. So, end of lesson #1…Kinetic sand requires supervision and cleanup.
